Some helpful tips for brewing.
Use 1 oz (28g) for 16 oz (500 ml) of water in your coffee maker. Or .625 oz for 10 oz of water.
The water should be heated to approximately 200 degrees Fahrenheit (93 degrees Celsius).
These are the guidelines. A good rule of thumb is 2 tablespoons for every cup of coffee. A cup in most automatic drip machines is 6 oz.
If you are making a full pot of coffee, determine how many ounces your coffee maker takes and then divide by 6 for the appropriate amount of tablespoons.
There are some variables to consider: Not every automatic drip coffee maker is the same. Are you using an actual tablespoon or a measuring scoop? And above all, your own personal taste.
Please experiment! Using a little more or a little less may make it just the way you like it.
